Entry for February 9, 2008 - Finding the Best Deal, and the Best Price
The best price to pay for an item is not always easy to find.  Even when you do find the "best price" it doesn't mean you are getting the "best deal".

What this is trying to say, is that the old adage of "you get what you pay for" sometimes holds true.

For instance, if you saw an original work by Salvador Dali, Jean Miro, Pablo Picasso or Marc Chagall with a starting online sales price for $.99 do you really believe that any seller, with even half a brain in his or her head, would actually give you an original painting or valuable limited edition for that price?

You would be surprised how many times that we, at the Internet Art Gallery (internetartgallery.org) have seen listings intended to make people believe that was what they were getting.

The Internet Art Gallery (internetartgallery.org) communicates with members of the public on this topic almost every day of the week and works hard to set the record straight so that our friends (we call our customers friends because thats how it usually ends up) don't get taken advantage of.  That's a polite way of saying "sc...ed" in case you didn't figure that one out!

As a courtesy to our clients (and hopefully future friends) we run a "Price Reduction/Satisfaction Increase Program". The way this works, is that anytime someone sees an item that they think they want to purchase or bid on (from anywhere), whether it be a peice of fine art, a collectible, a piece of jewelry, or most anything else, if you contact the Internet Art Gallery at info.internetartgallery.org first, we will do the research for you free of charge and try to determine if it is really a legitimate deal, make sure that you know what you are really getting if you buy it, and see if it really is the best situation for you or whether we can find you an even better deal.

You should always feel free to contact us with any questions you might ever have.  You can reach us at:  info@internetartgallery.org or view information on our website at www.internetartgalery.org

Happy (and satisfied) hunting!
